Mr. Arfiandi joined Prihartono & Partners in 2006 as Senior Associate, and reinforced the firm mainly in the areas of civil, commercial and criminal litigation, as well as employment/labor cases, and state administrative cases, although he is also proficient and experienced in non-litigation law and provides counsel on general corporate law.
Mr. Arfiandi has also worked on several cases requiring expertise in alternative dispute resolution.
Prior to joining Prihartono & Partners, Arfiandi have served extensively in Perhimpunan Bantuan Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia (PBHI) (Association for Legal Advocacy and Human Rights Advocacy), where he started as volunteer in the legal aid department and eventually becoming staff of the department. He eventually moved up in the organization, becoming Head of Research and Campaign Department, and ultimately becoming Secretary General in 2004.

Mr. Arfiandi completed his legal education at Jambi University in 1997. He subsequently attended a post-graduate training course in clinical forensic medicine, medical jurispendence, medical ethic and human rights, organized conjointly by Hasanuddin University, North Sumatera, and Groningen University of the Netherlands in 2004.
In addition to being a practicing legal counsel, Mr. Arfiandi is also a member of the Indonesian Environment forum (WALHI), first as Local Council Chairperson, and then as Local Council member until the present. He also continues his membership in PBHI and is a member of the Indonesian Bar Associations since 2000.
